MBA / MCA -PGCET

The Karnataka PGCET is being conducted for the purpose of determining the merit of both Karnataka and Non-Karnataka Candidates for admission to the First year / First semester of Full Time and Part Time courses in Master of Business Administration / Master in Computer Application in Government Colleges, University Departments and the Private Unaided Institutions affiliated to the following Universities-Bangalore, Gulbarga, Karnataka, Kuvempu, Mangalore, Mysore, Tumkur, Bijapur Women’s University and Visvesvaraya Technological University, within the State of Karnataka.
Karnataka candidates are eligible for both government seats( Category A seats i.e. 100% seats in Government colleges & University Departments and 50% of total intake in Private Unaided Institutions) and Management seats( Category B seats i.e. seats other than Government seat) surrendered by Private Unaided Institutions.
Non-Karnataka candidates are eligible for those seats available against management seats (Category B seats) of Private Unaided Institutions.

SAT
The SAT Reasoning Test (formerly Scholastic Aptitude Test and Scholastic Assessment Test, pronounced as three separate letters) is a standardized test for college admissions in the United States. The SAT is owned, published, and developed by the College Board, a not-for-profit organization in the United States. It was formerly developed, published, and scored by the Educational Testing Service which still administers the exam. The test is intended to assess a student's readiness for college.

SNAP
Symbiosis National Aptitude (SNAP) Test is an entrance test for admission to postgraduate management courses of Symbiosis Institute of Business Management (SIBM), Pune and various other Symbiosis International University (SIU) institutes in India. Giving SNAP is just a pre-condition for admission to the various Symbiosis institutes. Candidates have to apply separately to the various institutes in which they are interested in to take admission.

BITSAT

BITSAT is an entrance exam conducted for admission in to Birla Institute of Technology and Science for bachelor engineering programs in its Pilani, Hyderabad and Goa campuses. Unlike other engineering entrance tests BITSAT is not a paper based test but an online test. For the easiness of the students it occurs on different days for different students with different question sets of similar difficulty levels. BITS also provide opportunities to board-toppers students for direct admission in to these institutes without any entrance examination in specified course. GATE
Graduate Aptitude Test (GATE) is conducted jointly by Indian Institute of Technology (IITs) and Indian Institute of Sciences for the admission of students in various postgraduate courses in India. Karnataka CET

Common Entrance Test (CET) is conducted every year by the Karnataka Government for the admission in Engineering and Medical colleges. The CET Cell will conduct the seat selection process for government seats for admissions to first-year Medical, Dental, Engineering, Ayurveda, Homeopathy, Unani, Naturopathy and Yoga and Architecture courses. KEA-Karnataka Education Authority will conduct all exams on behalf of the Education department of Karnataka.
